The Department of Urban Design organizes a one-day study trip to Vienna.

topic: Residential areas and new centres in Vienna,

Date: 30th September 2023 (Saturday).

Planned departure: in front of BME, K. building 6.30 o’clock, arrival: ~23.00. Planned itinerary and professional programme in Vienna (but may be subject to change in case of extraordinary events):

    • Alterlaa housing estate – LINKLink
    • Wildgarten development – LINKLink
    • Fallow Land Project – LINKLink
    • Sonnwendviertel – LINKLink
    • Kabelwerk – LINKLink

Possible programme depending on the time available: Sargfabrik – LINKLink The site visits are followed by a few hours of free time in the city centre of Vienna.

The study trip is open to all students, but the journey will only be held if we have at least 32 participants.

Application (sign-up) is possible by paying the participation fee at the department (K293).
