{"id":10931,"date":"2018-06-18T13:44:44","date_gmt":"2018-06-18T11:44:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/urb.bme.hu\/?p=10931"},"modified":"2021-08-20T14:47:47","modified_gmt":"2021-08-20T12:47:47","slug":"danubedays-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/urb.bme.hu\/en\/danubedays-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"DANUrB &#8211; DANUBE-DAYS \/\/ 2018. 06. 29-30."},"content":{"rendered":"<a href=\"https:\/\/urb.bme.hu\/wp-content\/danurb-duna-napok-2018-06-29-30\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-10932 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/urb.bme.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/urb.bme_.danurb.gif.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The International Day of the Danube is celebrated on 29th June, accordingly several\u00a0cities and several countries join this event with various cultural and sport programs.\u00a0In Hungary we joined the international event last year and this year as well with a\u00a0series of programs called \u2018Danube Days\u2019 within the frames of the Interreg DANUrB \u2013Danube Urban Brand \u2013 project that is coordinated by Budapest University of\u00a0Technology and Economics, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Urban Planning\u00a0and Design.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The cities of Esztergom and \u0160t\u00farovo (P\u00e1rk\u00e1ny) are waiting for the\u00a0participants with a variety of programs for the second time in this joint venture\u00a0on 29-30 June but in 2018 R\u00e1ckeve city also joint to the initiation and offer\u00a0entertainment to interested visitors from 29 June to 1 July. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of the important\u00a0objectives of the DANUrB program is to strengthen the cultural identity of the Danube\u00a0regions by creating a comprehensive cultural network and to map out unused hidden\u00a0cultural and social resources and built heritage.
